This body of work is an attempt to examine or represent healthy forms of release of pent up masculine instinct our culture creates and puts on display as spectacle or otherwise sanctions. these release events cater to what humans are biologically programmed to do: hunt, pursue and capture. through these outlets, we are able to skirt taboo issues, engage in otherwise unacceptable behavior and live by our instincts, albeit mostly vicariously.
